What is tapered roller bearing

Convex raceway machining adjustment method
1. Adjust the Angle between the workpiece shaft and the grinding wheel shaft to ensure that the ring axis is parallel to the axis of the grinding wheel.
2. Calculate the β value according to the workpiece size and technical conditions.
3. Align the center position of the grinding wheel width. Firstly, the position of the diamond nib is adjusted, and the track of the diamond nib is pre-adjusted to pass the intersection point of the center line of the width of the grinding wheel and its axis, so as to ensure the ideal symmetrical raceway crown shape (Figure 3). If the running track of the grinding wheel dresser does not pass the intersection point between the center of the grinding wheel width and the axis and is left or right, the highest point of the raceway crown formed will also be left or right. After grinding the product, measure the raceway crown Angle with the instrument. If the value increases or decreases, it means that the track of the diamond nib does not pass the intersection, and it needs to be trimmed. If the measurement raceway crown Angle increases, it is necessary to move the base seat of the grinding wheel dresser to the non-reference surface, and the correction Angle remains unchanged. Then the grinding wheel is dressed until the track of the diamond nib passes the intersection point.
4. Forming fine trimming of grinding wheel. After grinding the product, the convex measurement was compared with the profile meter, and then the grinding wheel was fine-tuned to obtain the relatively ideal symmetrical concave grinding wheel, and the proper convex and symmetrical raceway was grinded.
